Yamaki F-160 | 1974 Made in Japan

This 1974 F-160 comes from the Daion/Teradaira factory during what's generally regarded as Yamaki's golden era, when the brand moved to all-solid wood construction rather than the laminate builds used lower in the range, aiming squarely at the high-end American acoustics of the day. Fifty years on, the solid spruce top has properly opened up, and paired with the solid rosewood back and sides it gives deep projection with balanced, complex overtones. It's in exceptionally clean condition for its age, with zero fret wear, a low action setup, and the original hard case included.
