TF Morris W-60, 1980s (Japan)
This TF Morris W-60 features a gorgeous, aged solid spruce top that has opened up beautifully over the last forty-odd years, giving it that massive, deep boom and crisp top-end clarity you only get from vintage wood.
The build quality speaks for itself. It proudly sports the classic vertical "tMf Morris" logo on the bound headstock, giving it that premium, high-end Martin D-45 style vibe alongside the stunning hexagon abalone inlays, full abalone body binding, and exquisite marquetry that frames the whole guitar beautifully.
When you flip it over, the specs get even crazier. It features a stunning three-piece back combining rich rosewood with a highly flamed centre wedge, a rock-solid mahogany neck, and a premium rosewood fretboard and bridge. The neck is carved into a remarkably comfortable vintage soft-V profile that fits the hand perfectly.
This particular piece has a perfect finish with absolutely no fretwear, the frets are completely untouched, and the gloss finish looks practically showroom-fresh. It's incredibly rare to find a Japanese vintage acoustic this clean and pristine.
