Maton F11 | 1972 Made in Australia

Handcrafted in Maton's Canterbury, Victoria factory in February 1972, this F11 comes from a genuinely small run: only 1,665were made across the model's 1970 to 1974 production, aimed at the folk music movement of the era. The pin-less bridge is bolted directly into the body for stability rather than relying on bridge pins, and the heel-less neck profile opens up smooth access to the upper frets, both distinctive features of Maton's early '70s design. It has a warm, focused mid-range voice well suited to fingerstyle and rhythm strumming, and it's in good vintage condition with honest play wear, close to no fret wear at all.
