Gibson J-100 Xtra, 2002

A 2002 Gibson J-100 Xtra, built at Gibson's Bozeman, Montana acoustic factory, finished in natural. Solid Sitka spruce top over flamed maple back and sides, carried through into a matching flamed maple neck, on the 17" lower bout Gibson originally marketed as the "Super Jumbo 100" body size. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid crown inlays, a step up from the dot inlays standard to this model, and a mustache bridge.
Exceptionally clean for its age: front, back and sides show minimal handling wear, the neck is straight with no fret wear, and there's only one small mark on the back of the neck that doesn't affect playability. Headstock is clean and unmarked.
