Fernandes FST-70, Natural Gloss | Made in Japan

Ash body finished in Natural gloss, at a light 3.6kg, paired with a one-piece maple neck and maple fretboard. Original Fernandes single-coil pickups and a 5-way selector give it a clear "Strat spank" that holds up against the real thing. Hardware's a vintage-style 6-screw tremolo bridge with the original ashtray-style chrome bridge cover still in place, Fernandes-branded tuners, and the neck's fixed with a 3-bolt joint.
 
Fernandes started life in 1969 as Saito Musical Instruments, renaming in 1972 as it moved into electrics. This one wears the "Fernandes Corporation Ltd" headstock decal, putting it in the late 70s to early 80s.
 
In absolute excellent condition for its age. Frets have plenty of life left in them, the neck's straight, and everything plays and sounds the way it should.
