Unlike the more loaded three-pickup, Bigsby-equipped Riviera Custom P93, this Limited Edition run digs deep into Epiphone's golden-era history, sporting a pair of snappy mini-humbuckers and the iconic split Frequensator tailpiece, carried since the '60s.
 
Tonally, it sits perfectly in the sweet spot between a traditional full-sized humbucker and a single-coil, giving you all the bite, jangle and punch you need without any of the hum. The semi-hollow body's maple centre block handles high-gain overdrive effortlessly while keeping feedback under wraps, making it just as comfortable singing through a cranked tube amp on stage as it is chugging indie rhythms in the studio.
 
It has also been upgraded with a high-performance aftermarket Tune-o-Matic bridge featuring low-friction black saddles. This is a highly practical, player-centric upgrade that completely eliminates the notorious mechanical rattle common to stock Epiphone factory bridges, significantly improving tuning stability and overall sustain.
Little to no fret wear, and even acoustically this guitar sings. It has great action that's very easy to play, and a super smooth neck that glides. Cosmetically, it's exceptionally clean and in mint condition. This guitar has a tonne of mojo, and clean examples of this specific 2009 Custom Shop Limited Edition run don't come up often.
