The Dot VS features Epiphone's post-2008 specifications including a 1-piece mahogany neck instead of maple. The Vintage Sunburst finish has a multi-shaded dark gradient over laminated maple. Hardware shows light oxidation consistent with age.

Sound and Tone
The Alnico Classic neck pickup delivers warm, clear tone. The Alnico Classic Plus bridge pickup adds punch and drive. The mahogany neck adds warmth compared to earlier maple-neck models.
 
Feel and Playability
The C-profile mahogany neck is comfortable. No fretwear ensures smooth playability. Light hardware oxidation does not affect tuning stability.
 
Condition
Great structural and playing condition. No fretwear. Minor surface wear and light swirling. No major damage. Hardware has light rust and oxidation, fully functional.

The Epiphone Dot was introduced in 1997. Post-2008 models (including this 2009 example) feature mahogany necks instead of maple. The VS suffix indicates Vintage Sunburst finish.
