Edwards E-LP-135ALS RE 2007 Lemon Drop front view

Edwards E-LP-135ALS/RE | 2007 Lemon Drop MIJ

$2,600.00Price

2007 Edwards by ESP E-LP-135ALS/RE for sale, in a faded Lemon Drop finish. Built for the Japanese domestic market as one of the higher-tier models in the Edwards ALS (All Lacquer Series) lineup β€” a 100% nitrocellulose finish over the wood, rather than the poly undercoat used on lower-tier Edwards models. Bookmatched flame maple top over a solid mahogany back. One-piece mahogany neck with a long neck tenon and a medium '59-style rounded C profile. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays and a bone nut. Gibson-style open-book headstock with a gold "Limited Model" silkscreen. 3.8kg. Gig bag included.

This is a factory Relic Edition (RE) β€” the nickel hardware oxidation, finish texturing, and aged binding are part of ESP's original factory relic process, not aftermarket ageing, and the bridge pickup cavity carries a handwritten "RE" stamp. It retains its factory-fitted Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbucker set, signed on the baseplates, wired with CTS 500k audio taper pots (dated June 2006) and 0.022uF film-and-foil tone capacitors. Note: the original pickguard is missing.

Come play it in person at our Sydney shop, or we'll ship it to your door anywhere in Australia.

In stock at Guitar Garage. $2,600

Sound and Tone
Mahogany back, maple top and Seymour Duncan Antiquity humbuckers are a classic vintage-voiced Les Paul-style combination β€” warm, with good sustain from the long-tenon neck joint.

Feel and Playability
Medium '59 C neck profile with a long neck tenon. Neck is straight, truss rod functions correctly, and it holds tuning well with low action. Zero fretwear.

Condition
Structurally immaculate with no cracks or breaks. The light aesthetic ageing, finish texturing, and oxidised nickel plating are part of the original ESP factory relic process. A few small natural blemishes sit outside that factory relic work. Zero fretwear. Original pickguard is missing.
