The EG-600 PR is a three-pickup Les Paul Custom-style guitar from Greco's Super Power series. The ink-stamped serial number dates to December 1980. Fujigen factory. The Cherry Sunburst finish has mellowed nicely over 45 years.
The pickups are the real story here. Maxon U-1000s were top-tier in the early 1980s and were used in all three positions on this model. They give you a wide range of tones: warm and sweet in the neck, punchy in the middle, and bite in the bridge. Out-of-phase combinations add extra versatility.

The three Maxon U-1000 humbuckers give you a wide range of tones: the neck position is warm and sweet, the middle adds punch, and the bridge has bite. Out-of-phase combinations offer extra versatility, and the uncovered bobbins add a bit more clarity to the overall sound.
