Tokai Love Rock ALS-36 | 1990s Made in Korea

Produced during Tokai's Korean export window between 1998 and 2000, this Love Rock ALS-36 pairs a mahogany body with a maple cap under a Trans Black Flame Maple finish, giving Tokai's PAF-style humbuckers a warm, vintage-voiced tone with good resonance and sustain. The contoured heel cut opens up access to the upper frets more than a standard set-neck design, and the export-market headstock has the distinctive "dimple" and pointed 3-screw truss rod cover collectors look for on this model. It's a well-maintained player's guitar with light surface scratching typical of a transparent finish, structurally sound throughout.
