Orville Les Paul Junior, 1997 (MIJ)
If you want a guitar that can shift from a smoky, woodsy blues chime to a roaring garage-rock assault with just a twist of the volume knob, this 1997 Orville Les Paul Junior is your weapon of choice. Orvilles are legendary among gigging musicians because they are built to be played hard, and this Junior brings that exact plug-and-play grit to the table. At a featherweight 3.2kg, it sits comfortably and frees up your playing.
The single dogear P-90 is a total chameleon. Roll the tone back slightly and you get that fat, warm, vocal midrange that makes old-school blues leads sing. Open it wide and push your preamp, and it turns into a fierce, aggressive monster with the perfect string definition for fast downstrokes and heavy riffage.
There is minimal fret wear and only a small chip out of the finish on the top edge of the guitar, otherwise it's in excellent condition.
