1999 Gibson SG Standard USA made in Nashville, Tennessee. Hand-selected Yamano Music export order for the Japanese market. Solid mahogany body and neck. Bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Gibson 490R and 498T humbuckers. Grover tuners. 3.2kg. Original hard shell case.
 
The serial number dates this guitar to October 18, 1999. Yamano Music enforced stringent quality control, so only Gibson's finest instruments with premium wood grain and structural perfection were approved for this export contract. The Heritage Cherry finish and full-face batwing pickguard give it that classic late-60s SG look.
The 490R and 498T pickup combination delivers punchy tone with singing sustain and classic rock bite.

Sound and Tone
The 490R and 498T humbuckers give you punchy midrange with singing sustain. The 498T bridge pickup adds a bit more output and bite for classic rock leads. The mahogany body provides warmth and resonance.
 
Feel and Playability
Rounded mahogany neck profile. Bound rosewood fingerboard. Frets show minimal wear with plenty of life left. Lightweight 3.2kg body.
 
Condition
Player grade with honest wear. Front face has heavy natural lacquer checking, surface scuffs, and finish flaking along the forearm contour. Minor finish wear below the bridge. Headstock has vertical weather checking lines. Neck and neck heel are structurally sound with no cracks or repairs. Bound rosewood fretboard is in excellent health. Frets show minimal wear. Back of body has widespread surface scratching, small dings, and edge flaking near the control cavity. Old strap button hole on horn. Binding flaking on fretboard. Structurally stable.
