Gibson Explorer Custom Shop '58 | 2018 TV White Limited Run

Gibson's Custom Shop reissued the '58 Explorer in solid mahogany rather than the original Korina, part of a run limited to just 50 instruments worldwide in this TV White finish. The Custombucker humbuckers give it dynamic, touch-sensitive PAF-style response, cleaning up beautifully with the volume rolled back and turning punchy and mid-rich when opened up, while the solid mahogany body adds warm resonance with tight low end and singing sustain. The chunky '58 C-shape neck with historic tenon offers substantial vintage feel without being uncomfortable, and at 3.54kg it's light enough to play comfortably standing or sitting. It's in excellent condition, professionally set up with low action, with minimal fret wear, some minor nitro burn on the neck near the nut, and light play wear on the pickguard only.
