Fender Stratocaster Hardtail | 1976, 3-Tone Sunburst (USA)

This one's genuine Fullerton-built Fender, and it plays like it. Light for a Strat at 3.4kg, with the ash body and string-through bridge giving it more punch, sustain and tuning stability than a tremolo-equipped '70s Strat, and original single-coils that keep that bright CBS-era chime without turning thin. Factory stamps inside the body cavity (INSP 33, routing code 0962, J. Roberts' own signature) back up exactly what's stamped on the neck plate.
