Fender Japan Precision Bass | Refinished, JV Serial

Fender-made-in-Japan Precision Bass for sale in Olympic White. It carries the original JV-series serial neck plate (JV21774) from Fender's first Japan-made reissue run in 1982, on what appears to be its original body and neck — though a full respray and reproduction headstock decals mean it can't be sold as a verified vintage original. Great sound, great action, straightforward player's bass.

Sound and Tone
A classic, punchy Precision Bass voice with plenty of low-end thump — our team played this one before listing it and it sounds and plays as good as any well-set-up P-Bass in this range.
Feel and Playability
Neck and fretboard are in great shape with no fretwear at all. Action is set up well and plays easily up and down the neck. Tuners work perfectly; bridge saddles show only minor, expected oxidisation.
 
Condition
The Olympic White respray presents well overall, with a mostly clean front face — a few minor blemishes around the bottom edge and one on the top right horn. Sides show some scuffing and dings in a few spots, with nicks along the lower back and near the neck pocket. Neck and fretboard are excellent with zero fretwear. Hardware is fully functional.
