Fender Japan Precision Bass | Refinished, JV Serial

This Japan-made Precision Bass carries an original JV-series neck plate (serial JV21774) from Fender's very first Japan-made reissue run in 1982, on what looks to be its original body and neck, though a full respray in Olympic White and reproduction headstock decals mean it can't be sold as a verified original vintage example. What it is: a genuinely great-sounding, great-playing bass with a classic, punchy P-Bass thump, well set up with no fretwear at all, worth buying on how it sounds and plays rather than as a collector's piece.
