This early 1980s Tokai Jazz Sound (TJB-45) is an L-series model from Tokai's golden-era Hamamatsu factory, likely dating to 1982 to 1984. The black gloss finish and red tortoiseshell guard keep a classic look, and the Tokai single-coils deliver the classic Jazz Bass growl with balanced resonance from the alder body. It's in exceptional vintage condition, with minimal, age-appropriate wear across the body and neck and a rosewood fingerboard that's pristine with no fret wear at all.
