1998 Boss FZ-3 Fuzz in perfect working condition. Made in Taiwan during the pedal's short production run (February 1997 to January 1999) . Silver label. Rare and increasingly sought-after.
 
The FZ-3 uses a fully discrete circuit with no integrated circuits, achieving low noise and low current draw (6mA) . Controls are simple: Level, Tone and Fuzz . The circuit sits somewhere between a Fuzz Face and a Tone Bender, delivering smooth, rich fuzz with decent sustain and bite . It works well with buffers and wah pedals, avoiding the placement issues common to vintage fuzzes . No box.
