Yamaha Luxury Series L-10 - MIJ - 1980s
An exceptional guitar and stunningly well designed, this Yamaha L-10 will be sure to leave an impression. Guitars made in Yamaha's Luxury or "L" Series were hand-crafted in Japan's Nippon Gakki plant. The series was first introduced in 1975 and made through to 1986.
This line was introduced to compete with USA-made Folk & Western guitars like Martins, but produced solely for the Japanese Domestic Market so they are not often seen outside their country of origin.
The L-10 is an all-solid guitar, which is a key part of its incredibly resonant tone that has no doubt improved over its long lifetime. Featuring a solid Ezo spruce top, Solid Indian rosewood back and sides and an African mahogany neck. Ebony fretboard with beautiful snowflake inlays and an ebony bridge. This has had a recent fret dress. The playability on this guitar is incredible, so easy to play with an excellent low action.
In great condition overall for such an old guitar. There are a few nicks and grazes to the bottom of the top of the body. Thin mark on the side as shown in photos.
If you're a fan of vintage Japanese guitars, this Yamaha Luxury Series L-10 would be a perfect choice. Comes with hard case.
