This 1979 Tokai Hard Puncher PB-4 is a standout example of Japan's "lawsuit-era" craftsmanship, prized for its high-quality construction and vintage accuracy. These Tokai basses are widely regarded as some of the best Fender-style instruments ever produced outside the USA, often rivaling or exceeding the American originals they were inspired by.
 
The instrument is in standout condition for its age, showing only the honest character of genuine vintage aging rather than heavy use or abuse. The frets are in excellent shape with very minimal wear, and the finish remains for the most part quite clean. Hardware is all in great condition and recently serviced.
