Roland JC-80 Jazz Chorus Amplifier | 1977 Made in Japan
Roland JC-80 Jazz Chorus Amplifier | 1977 Made in Japan
Made in Japan. Rare early model from the original JC lineup. 80 watts solid-state. Original 15" speaker. Iconic analog chorus, vibrato and reverb.
The JC-80 is an early and increasingly hard-to-find model from the original Roland Jazz Chorus era, made in Japan in 1977. These early production models are highly sought after for their heavy-duty vintage construction, exceptional build quality, and unmistakable crystal-clear tone.
Pushing 80 watts through a original 15" speaker, it delivers massive clean headroom and stays beautifully articulate even at high volumes. This makes it perfect for live use, studio recording, or as a premium pedal platform. The 15" speaker gives this model a unique voice with extended low-end response compared to its 12" counterparts.
The amp is fully functional and sounds incredible. Cosmetic wear consistent with age, but overall very clean for a 1977 piece. Treble front plate on the knob missing as seen in photos.
