Rickenbacker 345 – 1966 – Rose Morris
A rare chance to own an original 1966 Rickenbacker 345/1998, the Rose Morris export variant of the US 345—distinguished by its classic F-hole instead of the American “cat’s eye”. These hardly ever surface, and this one brings serious rock ’n’ roll pedigree.
Original toaster-top pickups that sound every bit as chimey and alive as you’d hope. Guitar playes extremely well, great action, truss rod working perfectly.
All electrics (pots, switches etc.) as factory; original.
Possibly this model originally featured either a flat plate trapeze tailpiece or even a tremolo.
The current Rickenbacker tailpiece (R) is a replacement.
Honest playwear throughout—fretboard wear, nicks, scratches—nothing that gets in the way of that unmistakable Rick feel and tone.
OHSC in great condition
