Mozztronics RTS-1 Ronnie Simmons Signature Dual Effect Pedal
Blood section (GD-1 Bonebreaker modes). Thunder section (boost + compressor). Dual footswitches.
The RTS-1 Ronnie Simmons signature pedal was envisioned and designed in conjunction with Ronnie Simmons himself. As Ronnie only uses a few pedals (one of which is the Mozztronics GD-1 Bonebreaker), we looked at his favourite pedals and combined them into one signature unit. The internal effects are ordered exactly as Ronnie has them on his own pedalboard.
You may have noticed the references to BLOOD and THUNDER. This is Ronnie's tribute to George Young and Harry Vanda and the distinct Australian guitar sound they created at Alberts with his blood brothers in Rose Tattoo and other legends such as AC/DC, Stevie Wright and The Angels.
To quote Ronnie: "Now I have the RTS1 Blood & Thunder, other than my tuner, I only need one pedal when I hit the stage. Blood in, Thunder out!"

Blood Section (First in Chain)
This section features Ronnie's two favourite modes from the Mozztronics GD-1 Bonebreaker, selectable by the MODE switch:
MODE UP: Tighter and more aggressive
MODE DOWN: More open sounding
Internal jumper link allows you to change between three different sounds for when the MODE switch is UP:
TS mode
0CD mode
MOZ (Mozz special mode)
Controls: GAIN, TONE, VOL
Thunder Section (Last in Chain)
A boost to really drive the front end of Ronnie's Marshall, with added compression.
BOOST drives the signal (some clipping available—start halfway and experiment)
COMP goes from light compression to hard limiting
VOL provides make-up gain after the compressor
Start with COMP on minimum, adjust BOOST to your required level, adjust COMP as desired, then adjust VOL for final boost level.
Both sections have independent true bypass footswitches.
