Mosrite 'The Ventures' of California '65 Vintage Reissue Bass - 2000s - w/OHSC

This Mosrite Ventures Model '65 vintage reissue bass in near mint condition and perfect working order and complete with the original Mosrite Black leather hard case. 
 
Super rare, this one was produced by Kurokumo, an official Mosrite licensee in Japan for a number of decades. Revered as one of the best lines of basses ever made, it's easy to see why these are in such high demand.

Boasting the original pair of single coil pickups, the tone is a perfect balance of a distinctive mid range and low end thump.
This bass was professionally set-up here by our techs. The action has been set at just the right height off the fretboard to allow for easy playability without any sacrifice of tonality. The intonation is accurate and the neck is straight. This Mosrite bass absolutely rocks.

Down to the last detail, this bass is flawless in design. Solid basswood body in a 3 Tone Sunburst gloss finish with a German Carve, true to the original '60 Ventures models. 3-ply white scratchplate. The slender C profile maple neck even has a 3TS finish. The bound rosewood fretboard features medium jumbo frets with fret edge binding and small white dot inlays and exhibits zero fretware.
 
Mosrite "M" shaped headstock with appropriate Mosrite of California "the Ventures" decal. The original chrome machine heads still retain their shine. 4-saddle chrome Mosrite bridge plate and original 4 bolt chrome neckplate.

The pickups are original Mosrite single coils which sound incredible. "M" Mosrite stamped Volume and Tone dial and a 3-way pickup selector switch allows for you to toggle between neck, bridge or both pickups. All internals are original. Electrics working perfectly.

Cosmetically, this one is in excellent condition. Some very faint scratches on the 4-bolt neck plate. Other than that, its super clean.

Mosrite's like this have earned their reputation for their superior build, great aesthetics and amazing tone. A great moment in time for Mosrite, this '65 Reissue Ventures Model is top notch.

Comes in the original Mosrite Black hard shell case with blue plush interior.
