Mosrite 'The Ventures' of California '65 Vintage Reissue Bass - 2000s - w/OHSC

This Ventures Model '65 reissue bass was built by Kurokumo, an official Mosrite licensee in Japan for decades, and it's in near-mint condition with perfect working order. The original pair of single-coil pickups gives it a distinctive tone that balances midrange with low-end thump, and it's been professionally set up here, with the action just right for easy playability, accurate intonation and a straight neck. The solid basswood body in 3-Tone Sunburst gloss carries the German carve true to the original '60s Ventures models, right down to a slender C profile maple neck finished to match, and the bound rosewood fretboard with medium jumbo frets shows zero fret wear. The Mosrite "M" shaped headstock carries the correct "the Ventures" decal, the original chrome hardware still holds its shine, and all internals are original with the electrics working perfectly, cosmetically excellent aside from some very faint scratches on the neck plate. It comes in its original Mosrite black hard shell case with blue plush interior.
