Background
The Martin D-28 has been a benchmark acoustic dreadnought since the 1930s. The 1995 Standard Series models featured non-scalloped bracing and striped ebony on fingerboards and bridges. Mid-1990s Martins are known for binding shrinkage due to adhesive used at the time. This example has had that issue professionally addressed.
