The Laney CUB-12R delivers classic British tube tone in a portable 1x12 combo. Features Power Scaling inputs: use the 15W input for full power tube saturation, or switch to the 1W input for bedroom playing and recording. The digital reverb is footswitchable with optional Laney FS1. Built-in tilt back mechanism allows the cabinet to be used upright or tilted. FX Send and Return for external effects. Extension cabinet output (8-16 ohm) for connecting Laney extension cabs.

Sound and Tone
British tube character with EL84 warmth and chime. The Tone control works like a guitar tone control at the end of the amplification chain, reducing upper end harmonics on the output stage and preamplifier overdrive. This allows bright cutting sounds at high settings and smooth rounded sounds at lower settings. The 1W input enables power tube saturation at bedroom volumes.
