H.S. Anderson Houston HS-A1 "Apple Guitar" - MIJ - 80s

Nicknamed the “apple guitar” for its distinctive small body, this H.S. Anderson Houston HS-A1 pairs a solid maple body split by a thick strip of walnut with a two-piece maple set neck and full 24 3/4" scale length. The C-shaped neck has round shoulders for a comfortable grip, and the rosewood fingerboard is framed in tortoise binding with a 16" radius and a single pearloid oval inlay. Tortoise detailing carries through to the single-ply pickguard and control plate, with rosewood knobs matching the rosewood pickup surround, and the chrome-plated Tune-o-matic wraparound bridge stays notably clean. It's a genuinely rare guitar, hard to find in this condition, and this one is excellent throughout with zero fret wear, just a small graze to the back of the body at the bottom right and a few minor blemishes on the headstock top, set up here with a nice low action.
