1974 Greco VB-360 left-handed violin bass made in Japan at the Fujigen factory. Sunburst finish. Spruce top with maple back and sides. 3-piece maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. 30" short scale. Floating rosewood bridge. 2 x Maxon staple-top humbuckers. 2.7kg.
 
This pre-serial instrument dates to the 1972-1974 "Lawsuit Era" and is a beautifully accurate replica of Paul McCartney's Hofner 500/1 "Beatle Bass." The sunburst finish is vibrant with minimal wear. Upgraded with black nylon tapewound strings for a smooth, warm tone. Original floating bridge, pickguard and controls remain intact. Left-handed.

Chrome hardware is clean and rust-free. Minor scratching on chrome neck plate. Upgraded tapewound strings. Fully operational.
 
Historical Background
Greco was one of Japan's premier "Lawsuit Era" brands, producing highly accurate replicas of classic American and European designs. The VB-360 was a direct tribute to the Hofner 500/1 "Beatle Bass" made famous by Paul McCartney. These Fujigen-built instruments are now highly collectable.
