Greco VB-360 Violin Bass | 1974 Made in Japan

$850.00 Regular Price
$650.00Sale Price

Dating to Greco's 1972 to 1974 lawsuit era, this VB-360 is a left-handed, remarkably accurate replica of the Höfner 500/1 that Paul McCartney made famous, built at the Fujigen factory with a spruce top, maple back and sides, and two Maxon staple-top humbuckers for that warm, thumpy vintage British Invasion tone. The short 30" scale and hollow 2.7kg body keep it light and easy to handle, and it's been upgraded with black nylon tapewound strings for an even smoother, more upright-like feel. It's remarkably well preserved for its age, with a vibrant sunburst finish, a tight neck heel showing no separation, and all original hardware fully operational.
