The J-45 is Gibson's best-selling acoustic model of all time, nicknamed "The Workhorse" since its 1942 introduction . This Bozeman, Montana example has a factory-installed LR Baggs Element pickup with a volume control inside the soundhole. The AA Sitka spruce top has hand-scalloped X-bracing. Near-mint condition.

Near-mint. Body and finish are remarkably well-preserved. One small cosmetic mark on front of headstock. Rosewood fretboard shows no wear. Frets fully intact. LR Baggs electronics fully functional.
