Fender Stratocaster ST72-70 A Serial - MIJ - 1986 - Olympic White

Fender Stratocaster ST72-70 A Serial - MIJ - 1986 - Olympic White

An early guitar in Fender Japan’s lifetime. Coming from the Fujigen factory with an A-Serial number, this Stratocaster comes from the golden age of Fender Japan.

All the classic 70s Stratocaster design is present with it, featuring a 3-bolt neck plate, large headstock, bullet truss, and big CBS Fender branding. The factory USA ST-Classic pickups are excellent; this guitar has a super clucky tone. Sen ash body with a timeless Olympic White finish, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard, this guitar has all the hallmarks of a great Fender.

The playability on this one is amazing. The feel is great and the sound just brings it up to the next level. An easy Stratocaster to get lost in and lose countless hours.

For a guitar made in 1986, this is in great condition. Very little fret-wear, a small indent to the back of the neck as shown in photos but does not impact playability. Some minor scuffs to the top of the body. A very small amount of the finish has come off the cutaway where the neck joins the body, see picture.

We tend to part very quickly with these 72’ reissues, so if you’ve been pining for an incredible player, and awesome sounding guitar then this might just be the perfect opportunity.
