Thumb W-300 1970s
Thumb W300 acoustic made in the Terada Gakki factory in the 1970s.
It has just been fully refurbished, restrung, and set up with a low action, so it’s playing beautifully and ready to go.
Featuring a beautifully aged spruce top with rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany vintage V-shaped neck.
Full body & neck binding, abalone dot inlays, and shows no fretwear.
Rhinestone bridge pins. The neck heel cap is missing.
A bit of lacquer clouding on the back & sides, but this is purely cosmetic. A few knicks/ blemishes on the face of the guitar.
Overall, it sounds great, plays beautifully, and is a standout example of Japanese acoustics from this era. It also features the cool “Fingerprint” logo on the truss-rod cover and “THUMB” engraved into the 2nd last fret.
Comes with a case.
