Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, and that unmistakable bold binding, this guitar delivers everything you expect from a D-28. Full and volumous - sweet & detailed, delicate & boustous.
 
The mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard and bridge offers a comfortable, classic Martin feel. The tone is wide open, rich, and mature — the kind of sound that a 20-year-old high-grade spruce top produces.

This example has clearly been well cared for. 
Comes with original moulded Martin hardshell case in excellent condition.
 
Structurally and tonally, it’s everything you want from a D-28. The rosewood delivers rich, balanced lows and clear, ringing highs, with a full midrange that opens up beautifully when played. Frets and hardware are clean, the neck is straight, and the setup is comfortable and responsive. 
 
This Martin D-28 is in outstanding condition for its age. The top has aged beautifully, there are no cracks, repairs, or major marks to speak of. The East Indian rosewood back and sides are exceptional — tight-grained, dark, and perfectly bookmatched, showing the kind of high-quality timber Martin was using in the early 2000’s.
