Gibson Hummingbird Lefty Custom Shop 2013

This is exactly why people fall in love with Hummingbirds.
 
It’s a beautiful step up from the standard hummingbird; there is a custom shop logo stamped on the back of the headstock & on the label in the soundhole.
 
Finished in nitrocellulose; Cherry Sunburst, this Custom Shop example is especially striking. 
 
Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. 
Mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard & bridge & classic mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. 
 
The neck and body are fully bound, adding to the refined Custom Shop presentation. 
Frets show almost no wear at all, and playability is excellent. 
 
This guitar has been lightly played over the years and remains in Great condition overall. 
 
This is a wonderful guitar; it sounds and plays so well. Great action - smooth and easy. 
There is zero fretwear present.
 
There is one small ding on the bottom right of the body, light scuffing, and some natural patina on the back of the neck near the headstock. The bridge has been reglued, and as a result, there is a visible line in the lacquer along the front edge of the bridge. 
9this is due to the laquer moving when repositioning the bridge. The finish remains stable. A cosmetic refinish in this area is possible if desired, though it is a detailed job.
