Martin D-35 - USA - 1975 - Natural

A beautifully aged 1975 Martin D-35 in really great condition with its original hard case. Built in the Martin Factory in Nazareth, USA.

The solid Sitka spruce top features six-ply binding, and its aged finish is complimented by a deep red tortoise pickguard. The Indian rosewood three-piece back and sides are accented with stripes and more binding. The ebony fretboard adorns a non-voluted ‘modified V’ neck and has aged white binding. A rosewood headplate houses Grover tuners.

Upon close inspection there are some small dimples below the bridge on either side, possibly from a brace repair. The bridge has been reseated. There is a small ding and some light scratches on the top and a small dent in the back of the neck. The binding at the 12th fret shows a slight gap from a previous repair due to shrinkage. Nothing affecting tone or playability whatsoever.

Weight: 2.1kg.

This D-35 has a great open tone and excellent note clarity. D-35s of this era are regarded as a sweet spot for Martin, this one is no exception. Plays with a great low action due to its super straight neck.Comes in its original Martin hard shell case.
