This Tokai AST96 Goldstar Sound is 100% all original, in perfect working order and is in as-new cosmetic condition.
In a 2 Tone Sunburst, it has a timeless aesthetic and plays beautifully.
Professionally set-up, the action is low and smooth. Superb overall playability.

The Solid Alder body has a 2 Tone Sunburst gloss polyurethane finish. Single ply white pickguard. The bolt-on maple neck with skunk stripe has a slender C profile and a gloss finish. Maple fretboard with black dot inlays. Zero fretware. Bullet truss rod. The headstock has a string tree and the gold Tokai logo inlay with Goldstar Sound and "Oldies but Goldies" decal. Vintage Kluson style machine heads. Chrome hardware. The saddles are stamped with "Tokai" in the fashion of a '57 Stratocaster.

The 3 x ST-Vintage Mk3 Single Coil pickups produce an amazing tone. Single Volume and 2 Tone dials. 5-way pickup selector and floating tremolo. The internal electrics are original and are working perfectly.
