Tokai T450R Banjo - MIJ - 1980s

Beautiful Tokai T450R banjo made in the 1980s. This model was designed to mimic the look and feel of the Gibson’s Mastertone RB-250. Featuring a pearl logo on the Allegro type headstock and dot position marks on the fingerboard. Maple rim with a mahogany neck and shell; the shell in particular looks exceptional, with a beautiful grain running through it.

This banjo is an excellent choice for any beginner looking to start their journey!

Overall in great condition, with no fretware whatsoever. The fifth fret nut has been upgraded to a nickel nut.

Comes with original case and paperwork, drum key, and truss adjustment rod.
