K Yairi YC-04 - MIJ - 1984
Beautiful vintage K Yairi YC-04, made in Japan in 1984. Yairi guitars are known for their use of aged tonewoods, meticulous craftsmanship, and a commitment to producing instruments that are cherished and passed down through generations.
Featuring a solid cedar top with a beautiful grain with rosewood back and sides. Mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard and bridge. Beautiful warm tone from this guitar, with lovely top end articulation, no doubt coming from the ageing of the tone woods of its 40+ year lifespan.
Overall in great condition. Given an in house setup and playing very well. Top has had a lacquer crack repaired on the bottom right side. Bumps and blemishes present mainly on the top, only minimal wear on back and sides with no wear whatsoever to be seen on the neck. Frets are in great condition with no wear. Slight belly to the top.
