Greco EG800, made in Japan 1978. The late 70s and early 80s is often referred to as Greco's peak in guitar craftsmanship and this beauty comes from right in the middle of that famed period. The 800 in the model number denotes that this was a higher end offering from Greco.

Featuring a Mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, Rosewood fretboard with binding and nibs, original Greco PAF-style humbuckers, Greco chrome machine heads.

There's a lot to love about the tone of this one; the pickups are articulate and clear and the aged mahogany adds a beautiful airy openness to the traditional classic creamy midrange and juicy lows. All in all, this is an exceptional example of how good a vintage Japanese LP can be... very, very good indeed.

Overall in great condition for a guitar well into its 40s. Fully serviced and setup, plays awesomely, it’s super straight with zero fretware and a great low action! There is a chip to the top of the body close to the scratchplate. Blemish to the right of the tailpiece. Some scuffs to the back of the body.

This Greco EG-800 is simply a great guitar. If you're after a great LP style vintage piece, this would be an excellent choice.

Comes with gig-bag.

Weight: 4.4kgs.
