Greco EG-500 Standard - MIJ - 1979 - Sunburst
Greco EG-500 Standard, made in Japan in 1979. This model features Greco’s original logo design on the headstock as opposed to the Gibson style logo that the EG Series typically adorned.
Featuring a 3-piece maple top on a mahogany body with a set mahogany neck. Rosewood fretboard with trapezoid inlays. Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and Greco vintage-style tuners. Original Maxon U-1000 pickup at the neck, the bridge pickup has been replaced to a Seymour Duncan ROHS, original pots. Truss Rod cover has been replaced. Knobs have been upgraded to modern notched speed knobs.
In good vintage condition for 1979. Signs of use are mainly on the back of the body, where there is some bucklerash and grazes around the edges of the guitar. Some scuffs to the top of the headstock. Very minimal fretware.
Comes with case.
