Oh yeah...this one’s got that thing to it. This is a fine example of a 1983 G&L SC-3, as soon as the setup was complete on this beauty we couldn't help but admire it. This plays and sounds awesome. The shorter bass side body horn and slab body design were only offered from 1982-83, making these guitars very rare.
 
Nitro finish and a 1-piece bolt on Maple neck. This neck is a clear highlight, naturally aged with plenty of birdseye coming through. This combination of darkened Maple alongside the black body finish makes this look like an absolute beast.
 
Strat like controls with a 5 way switch and 3 single coils. Neck and Middle pickup are original, the bridge pickup has been replaced to a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder. The cavity has been routed to fit. 
 
This has received a full setup with a nice low action. No back plate. Amazing playability on this one, we all want to take it home. 
 
A fair amount of cosmetic wear is present around the body. Some very small nicks present on the edges of the fretboard. Very little fretware. This one has lived a life and is pining for a new lover.
 
Comes with gig-bag.
