Fender TL72-55 Telecaster A-Serial - MIJ - 1985 - Natural
Fender Japan Telecaster TL72-55 made in 1985. Following the original JV serials in Japan came the A’s, making this still a very old guitar in Fender Japan’s catalog.
What a cool-looking beast, it’s a rare occurrence that we see a guitar come in with this much playwear and it really just adds to its awesome vibe.
Featuring a sen ash body, maple neck and fretboard. Awesome snappy tone from the TL-Single pickups. Original tuners, hardware and electronics. Given a fret dress as part of its setup. This guitar plays really well with a nice low action.
In good overall condition for a guitar of this age. As stated before, there is a lot of playwear present, resulting in the lacquer coming off on the fretboard and on the edges of the board. Bumps and nicks around the body, in particular on the sides. Minor wear to the guard. Pick-guard screws have definitely been replaced.
All around, this Telecaster has had a life but is in a great place and playing as good as ever.
Comes with gig bag.
