Fender '72 Stratocaster ST72-75 - MIJ - 1984-87

Fender '72 Stratocaster ST72-75 - MIJ - 1984-87

Fender Stratocaster ‘72 vintage reissue model ST72-75 made in Japan in the renowned Fuji-Gen factory between 1984/87. Being an E-series, this would have been an early iteration of Yngwie Malmsteen's signature model that was released in 1988.

The highlight here is without doubt the fully scalloped maple fretboard. The scalloping, particularly on the upper frets, provides a super distinctive feel that facilitates effortless string bending.

All the classic 70s Stratocaster design is present with it featuring a 3-bolt neck plate, large headstock. Lightweight ash body with a beautiful yellowed vintage white finish. Gotoh ST-Classic pickups, large pots and a large orange drop cap.

Overall in great condition with very little fretware present. There are some blemishes on the back that appear to be from stickers being removed. Some discolouration around the body due to age. Some minor checking on the back.

Comes with gig-bag.

Weight: 3.59kgs.
