Fender Highway One (Upgrade) Stratocaster - USA - 2010 - Nitrocellulose

 
Virtually unplayed American ‘Upgrade’ spec Highway One Stratocaster.
 
The Highway One Upgrade Stratocasters were a limited run from 2006 to 2011 and featured many unique specifications including a nitro finish, jumbo frets and a 70’s style headstock.
 
The solid alder body is finished in sunburst with nitrocellulose lacquer. The C-shape maple neck is capped with a rosewood fretboard with jumbo frets and features zero fretware. Both the neck and 70’s style headstock have a satin finish. The hardware is all chrome, with a vintage-style bridge.
 
The three hot alnico pickups are in an HSS configuration giving some extra grit to the bridge position. A reverse wound middle pickup provides a unique tone. The Greasebucket circuit allows the two tone dials to be rolled off without adding any bass.
 
There is no wear on this guitar however there is an outline from where the Fender promo stickers have been removed.

This guitar has been professionally set up in-house to play with a low action and minimal fret buzz.
