Fender ST54 MIJ 1993 RI

This strat is AMAZING.
 
The ST54 was Fender Japan's '54 reissue model that featured a light-ash/alder body, USA vintage pickups. Maple neck with a soft v profile. This is a beautiful example of Fender Japan’s attention to detail, faithfully recreating the look and feel of early 1950s Stratocasters (possibly replacing).
 
1993 high end model featuring, copper insulation plate on single ply pickguard, quality large pots, 5way selector switch.
This guitar setup beautifully, really impressive from the getgo, really beautiful open sound, it has a great vintage strat tone and dynamics.
 
No factory stamps on base of neck/ neck pocket. It has been difficult to identify, however it has to be one of the higher end models released in 1993 if not possibly a custom edition (either way just a great guitar).
