2003 Gibson Les Paul Standard Historic Collection.
A super guitar with many stories and has definitely lived a life.
Many excellent attributes on this model, listed below. The most important thing is that it feels great, plays exceptionally well and has something amazing going on.
Important features to this model:
*Truss rod cover moved away from nut
* Headstock shape changed
* Tuners arranged to be inline
* Vintage style CTS pots
*Return to wired ABR
* Madagascar rosewood fingerboard.
"AA" grade eastern hard maple top.
*Burstbucker type 1 & 2.
* Gold knobs instead of previous vintage amber knobs.
* Corrected tuner positions. "V" intead of "l l" way.
* "i"dot on gibson logo moved to the correct position.
* Refined parts positions and neck shape.
* Inlays changed to swirly plastic, sharp corners on remaining models
* Neck Profile: 60s
Weight: 4.59kg
At some point this guitar has had a headstock break repair. The work appears to have been done at professionally high standard, however it has not been refinished as invisible. This of course could definitely be done at a later date, however we are selling the guitar "as is".
Condition:
Other cosmetic wear includes a mark on the back left of the body next to the control plate. Some spots in the back of the body. Overall in fair condition. This guitar has had a headstock repair, please check the photos.
Comes with the original Gibson Historic Series hard case.
