This Orville by Gibson Les Paul is 100% all-original, in perfect working order, and in excellent cosmetic condition.
Made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market, Orville by Gibson's were manufactured at a very high level of craftsmanship that rivals even USA Gibsons of the same era, making them highly sort after by players and collectors alike.
This Orville was produced in the renowned Terada factory in 1990, and features USA made Bill Lawrence humbuckers, which were produced from 1988 - 1990 for Gibsons USA lineup.
Professionally set-up by our techs, the neck is straight and the action is low with spot-on intonation. Superb playability.
This piece lives up to the 'Orville by Gibson' reputation.

Weight: 3.5 kgs.

The solid mahogany body has a two piece carved maple top and has a Cherry Sunburst gloss finish. The set mahogany neck is capped with a rosewood fingerboard and features pearloid inlays. Zero fretware. The headstock sports the 'Orville by Gibson' logo, original 'Standard' truss rod cover and vintage Kluson-style tuners with golden green tulip pegs. Chrome Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar.

Two USA made Bill Lawrence humbuckers produce an amazing tone. 2 Volume and 2 Tone dials and a 3 way pickup selector. Internal electrics are all original and are working perfectly.

Cosmetically, this guitar is in excellent condition. Pretty impressive for a vintage 1990 Orville. 9.5/10 overall.

The rarity and esteem of vintage Orville by Gibsons combined with the Bill Lawrence humbuckers make this a truly special piece.
